Many people in the Cedar Rapids community need help with their tax returns. That’s where we come in.

With the support of United Way, our volunteers can prepare your tax return at no cost to you.

Last year CCIA’s VITA program completed over 1300 tax returns, bringing in over 2 million dollars in refunds and saving taxpayers about $250,000 in fees.

The IRS has fixed its software and is now accepting returns containing the energy  and education credits.  We are filing those returns as usual.
